Absolutely amazing, homemade food! Truly unique dishes from Goa that you won’t find anywhere else. I’ll definitely be back! 100% recommended if you’re in Lisbon — don’t miss it!
Little family restaurant run by Goan Portuguese family. Mrs Rodriguez cooks everything fresh, authentic to remind you of Goa…fortunate to get this experience 6000 kms away, and so authentic. Samosa and prawn balchão too yummy!! This is exotic stuff!
We liked the food so much we came back for a second visit on our 4 day holiday. The food is authentic goan cuisine. We particularly liked the Sorpatel however the Goan prawn curry and chicken xacuti were delicious too.
Visited this place as part of a food tour, lovely local place with a deep historic insight. We were introduced to the BEST samosas in town, and they did not disappoint. They were spicy though, and the owner has his own peri peri sauce that has a real kick! Bebinca cake is amazing too, apparently it took them a whole day to make one. Too excited for food, we forgot to take pictures! We met the owner who was super hospitable and friendly, and he shared many stories about his journey. Lovely experience, would 100% recommend samosa and vibes.
The food was delivered was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend the Pork Vindaloo and the Kachori, the flavours were on point. This is What Goan Soul food tastes like. Made me miss Goa and there wholesome atmosphere and the owners. They were kind enough to serve us even though they were supposed to open a bit later. Thank you for being kind.
First time in Zuari and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. (ps homemade Goan Curries and mouth watering pickles). The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.
By far the best food I’ve had in Portugal. Zuari is amazing and also unique. All the dishes are properly Goan (you won’t find butter chicken on the menu) and the owner is so sweet. We’ll definitely be coming back here.
The best meal I had in Lisbon! The restaurant has been run by the same family for 47 years and the food is the proof. I had the Chicken curry and my boyfriend had the redfish curry, which fell off the bone. Stunningly good.
